Step 1
To begin, first you have to verify that you have the three essential elements to place the chip in your device, which are:
- The key that brings the mobile by default to open the chip slot.
- The device Xiaomi Redmi S2 as such.
- The nano-sized card or chip that will be inserted into the mobile phone.
Step 2
Now, you have to proceed to turn off the system of your Xiaomi Redmi S2, in such a way that the system is not damaged in case of a forced reboot. To do this just press the "Power" button for a few seconds.
Step 3
Now, proceed to place the key in the hole that is in the record of your mobile device, as you will see, in doing so you have to apply a little pressure until a click sounds. Then, two trays of the device will come out, one corresponds to the "Nano SIM" and the "Micro SD" card, and the other that is only for a second SIM of nano size as well.
Step 4
Next, you have to proceed to extract the tray, and in it, as you should notice, you have to place the Nano SIM in the slot of the upper part that is the smallest.
Step 5
After performing these steps, you must proceed to insert the tray with extreme care back into the device, until you hear a "Click". Then, proceed to turn on the system of your Xiaomi Redmi S2 again and verify that the chip is actually read.
You have to know, that one of the things that you have to be careful with at this point, is when inserting the tray again, since, if the SIM is loose and pressure is applied, it can break causing structural damage on the mobile.
Knowing this, just follow the steps mentioned above and you will be able to insert your chip without problems in your Xiaomi Redmi S2.
