If the waters were upset by the controversial battle between operators and communication applications , this week could add fuel to the fire with the launch of the Google Allo instant messaging application .

image Recall that Google Allo was presented some time ago with the video call application Google Duo . It was strange to see how Google divided into two different applications both communication systems, Allo for messages and Duo for video calls.

Google Allo will launch this week but ... will it have the expected success?

After the release to the public of Google Duo, you could say that the result has been quite satisfactory, since this small application of video calls has reached more than 100 million downloads in the Google Play Store .

Currently the market for instant messaging applications is led by the indisputable WhatsApp, followed by Telegram. Both applications are good and fulfill their mission perfectly. The question we all ask ourselves is whether Google Allo will come "enough" enough to be considered an alternative to these messaging applications already installed in our mobile devices, habits and lives.

A few hours ago the news on Twitter leaked that Google planned to launch Allo this week, more specifically on September 21, 2016 . The source of this news is Evan Blass , known for offering the latest leaks in the world of technology.

What has caused great expectation around Google Allo is that it incorporates a personal assistant , with whom we can communicate and get information. In recent months there have been many companies that have opted for bots and it seems that Google Allo will include one.

Everything points to the fact that Google's new instant messaging application will be simple and intuitive, taking an example from Google Duo. We already discussed several features of Google Allo some time ago, now we can only wait a few days and see for ourselves if Allo deserves to be called "WhatsApp rival".
