Today we received through Twitter the news that the Google Allo instant messaging application will have a web version in a few weeks . The news comes from the hand of Amit Fulay, who is in charge of the development of the project and although he has not taken much care giving data, it has been enough to receive this good news.

On it ... few more weeks

Personally I do not use Google Allo, but I'm sure that more than one uses it regularly and having a web version opens a world of possibilities. I am sure that we will soon see this service integrated into desktop applications such as Rambox or Franz .

Google Allo will launch a web version in a few weeks, but ... will it increase its popularity?

We live surrounded by Google services whatever our device and Google Allo is the alternative of this giant for instant messaging. Although it had a fairly well-known release and left Google Hangouts in the background , Allo seems to have not achieved all the desired popularity.

We have tested it several times and the application is at the height of WhatsApp or Telegram, but for some reason, as happened with Google Hangouts, it has not finished among the users of smartphones.

The web version is something new for Google Allo, but it has been available for some time in the competition.

We believe that the launch of this web version is to try to give a boost to your app making possible its use in more devices and a desktop version is ideal.

Telegram already offers us this possibility for quite some time and the truth that is one of its great advantages, to be able to use the app from any device and from any platform or operating system.

Also keep in mind that Google Allo was not a pioneer app and its appearance on stage has not been easy to have in front of a titan like WhatsApp.
