One of the main advances of smartphones is the inclusion of the technology known as "augmented reality" , with which we can receive information in real time related to our environment. The recently presented Inkhunter application allows us to preview a tattoo on the skin before doing it permanently .
This application can save us more than one dislike, knowing that a tattoo is something for a lifetime. The possibility of testing it in our body and getting an idea of how the tattoo is going to be, can be that little spark that helps us decide whether to do it or not.
This application is born by the feeling of insecurity that causes us to make our first tattoo, since we will always have the uncertainty of whether we will fit the design once tattooed on our body. With Inkhunter we make use of augmented reality and, aided by the camera of our device, we can test the tattoo design we want anywhere in our body .
The design we can choose, can be one that is available in your tattoo gallery or we can use our own design . The instructions for use are simple, first of all we must draw a face on the part of the body where we want to place the tattoo , for this we can use a pen or marker. This face is composed of a horizontal line (the mouth) and two parallel vertical lines (the eyes) .
Next, we direct the camera towards the face we have drawn and try to superpose the face that appears on the screen, with the face we draw on our body . The tattoo drawn on our skin will automatically be displayed.
Once the tattoo is placed, we can save the image and even share it. While the result is not completely real , it serves to give us a pretty good idea of how a tattoo will look on our body.
