WhatsApp, although its main function is the communication through text, also allows to send multimedia content that is stored little by little in the internal memory of our device and that, depending on the amount of these files that we receive, it is possible that end up saturating the limited internal storage memories of current devices.
We can eliminate all these unnecessary files in several different ways. In this tutorial we are going to talk about 1 program to automate the process and the manual way to eliminate this content.
Manual form
All the files that we receive in WhatsApp are stored in the internal memory of our device. One way to eliminate them is manually through a file explorer program such as Root Explorer or ES File Explorer.
With these programs we must go to the sdcard / WhatsApp / Media route and we will see a series of folders:
- WallPaper
- WhatsApp Audio
- WhatsApp Images
- WhatsApp Profile Photos
- WhatsApp Video
- WhatsApp Voice Notes
In these folders are the different multimedia contents: received images, received videos, received audio files, voice messages, wallpapers, etc. Entering each of the folders we can delete all this content manually and even copy to another location what we want to keep to avoid being deleted for different reasons.
WCleaner for WA
