One of the advantages offered by a smartphone is the ability to be always connected from anywhere only having an active connection to the Internet or data network. A very useful way to always have our resources at hand is to mount a small FTP server on our computer so that using a client we can connect from anywhere and access our data wherever we are.
One of the most complete and easy to use FTP clients for Android is FTPCafe. We can download it for free from the Play Store app store .
Once downloaded, we execute it and we will see the main window of the client.
The first thing we must do is create the connection. To do this, click on the "New" button and we will see a window similar to the following one.
In the "Profile" tab we must enter the following data:
In the "more" tab we can configure other additional options:
Click on the Save button and we will have our connection ready.
All we have to do is click on the "Connect" button to connect remotely to our FTP server and be able to access its data.
Once the connection is established we can see, on one side, the file directory of our server and on the other, the local files. From this moment we will have total control over all of them and we will be able to send files from one of the devices to the other, move them, delete them, etc. without any problem.
