WhatsApp conversation groups allow us to communicate with several people in real time instead of having to do it individually. Although in many cases these groups are very useful, it can happen that they also become truly annoying because all users speak at once, at any time and we can have the mobile phone constantly showing notifications.
WhatsApp offers the possibility to mute groups for a certain time, even up to 1 century and also disable notifications. This will allow us to continue participating in the groups without constantly seeing notifications on our device. If we want to stop participating in a group for different reasons (too much activity, a past event, etc.) we can always leave the group when we want to by simply pressing a button.
To finally leave a group and cut all activity related to it, we must open the conversation window of that group and open the options menu.
Here we click on "Group Faith Info" and we will see the summary window of the group in which all the participants of the group appear and a general summary of all the activity of the same.
We can see in the lower part a button called "Delete and leave the group", just below the list of participants.
Clicking on this button will delete our number from the list of participants of the group in question. The other participants will see in their conversations a message that we have left the group and from that moment on we will stop receiving any activity related to the group.
If we are the creators or administrators of the group, another user will automatically take this function to add new users or eliminate others. In the same way, if we want to participate in this group again, the administrator will have to add us again to continue participating.
