When we go to Play Store in search of an application or game, many times we launch into the adventure and install the first thing we find, thinking that it will be our best alternative. Today, Google Play Store reviews are a differentiating element when installing or not an app , so Google is planning new more complete reviews for games .

Surely on more than one occasion, after installing an application you have been left with the feeling that the app is bad or that its operation does not convince you, despite having a good valuation within the store. It is clear that a more complete system of reviews is something that would improve the situation.

More complete reviews for games will reach the Play Store.

At the moment, it seems that Google focuses its efforts on games. The new reviews will allow scoring different aspects of the game that we want to assess:

  • Controls : the main limitation of video games on mobile devices are the controls and the comfort and accuracy of these, you can turn a game into fun into an impossible hell to play with touch controls. Assessing the proper functioning of the controls is an aspect that can help us a lot.
  • Gameplay : in this section we will value the game experience , that is, depending on whether we find it a boring / fun game, that it does not get blocked every time, etc ... we will give it a better or worse rating.
  • Graphics : in this section we will evaluate the visual quality of the graphics of the game . This is a section that usually arouses a lot of interest in the players, but in the end, if a game is boring, there is no use for spectacular graphics.

At the moment, only some users have the possibility to make valuations of this type , so we imagine that they are some tests prior to the global launch (if Google so decides) .
