Most of us who use Play Store habitually, we have thought more than once why the applications and games are mixed if they are totally different. This for many may be silly, caused a small mess that prevented looking for new apps or games quickly and effectively.
It seems that the giant Google has reconsidered and finally we have two types of software divided , so that finding what we are looking for will be easier. The drawback is that this change is one of those tests carried out from Google and is available only for a limited number of users.
With this new modification of Google Play Store is to get a list of applications or games more consistent . This ultimately translates into user satisfaction, since it gets the application or game that best suits their tastes.
Right now we have two main sections within the Android store: "Applications and Games" and another section called "Movies, Music and Books" . With the new update, we would go from two sections to three and we would have: "Applications" , "Games" and "Entertainment" . In the following image you can see it in the English version of the Play Store.
I must also clarify that these changes do not depend on the version of Play Store that we have installed , the appearance of the store will not change if we install another APK file of Play Store. The changes are made by Google on their servers and activated by a group of users as tests.
Lately several tests of this type have already been detected, which shows that Google is working to offer the best possible user experience. In my opinion, it would be a pity if this change did not become permanent for all users, but we can only wait and see what happens.
