The battle within the market of smartphones has opened several fronts not only within the manufacturers of smartphones, but within the manufacturers of their components and the best example are the processors. The latest news comes to us and states that MediaTek is working on a new Helio P35 processor, to compete directly with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 .

Within the world of processors for mobile devices, two brands dominate the market, on the one hand we have Qualcomm and on the other hand there is the Asian firm MediaTek. The latter is the manufacturer chosen by a high percentage of Chinese mid-range and entry-level phones.

MediaTek is working on a new Helio P35 processor.

They are not official data, but the data that has been leaked from the usual sources claim that the new Helio P35 is a SoC aimed at mid-range devices and would be the first processor in this range to implement 10 cores .

We will also have the opportunity for the first time to see a mid-range MediaTek chip with 10nm technology . The ten cores will make use of the tri-cluster technology, so that they are grouped into three 2 + 4 + 4 clusters (2x Cortex A73 at 2.2GHz + 4x Cortex A53 at 2.0GHz + 4x Cortex A35 at 1.2GHz) . This three-cluster technology adapts to the processing demand of the device, using one or several clusters, which significantly saves the battery.

Two other major novelties of the Helio P35 will be the compatibility with RAM memory LPDDR4x and the data storage system UFS 2.1 that provides higher performance.

In a GPU, the filtered data indicates that it is a Mali-G71 MP3 graphic processor . In addition it would have support for the system of fast load developed by MediaTek and that knows like Pump Express 3.0 .

There is no official release date, but it is rumored that until the summer of 2017 we will not see this processor equipped in smartphones.
