The wallpapers of our smartphone or Android device are one of the personalization elements that more people configure to taste. Many times the chosen wallpaper is part of a pack or a system application, so it is not easy to save that image that we like so much. When the wallpaper appears in the gallery of Android images, it is very easy to share or make a backup. In this case it would be enough to use the own sharing functionality or we can also save it in the cloud. This reminds me that I should mention the Walli app , a social network that revolves around wallpapers .
As a general rule, system wallpapers are not accessible from the gallery, nor through a file manager. These wallpapers are only accessible if we have root rights, although there is a way to get them without those permissions, which is what we will show in this tutorial.
The application we will use is called Wallpaper Saver and is available in Play Store for free although it has ads. Once installed, we open the application and see that it has already saved our current wallpaper, so we proceed to change it for the one we want to save. We open Wallpaper Saver again and we see that each time we configure a new wallpaper, the application saves it .
The application works with all the apps you could try that offer custom wallpapers such as Wallpaper Box HD, Zedge, etc.
Once we have saved the background, we can share it or make a backup. Be careful when sharing certain wallpapers publicly as they may have copyright.
