One of the main advantages of Android is the ability to customize even the smallest detail of the operating system. There are several ways to do this: on an aesthetic level, for example, with the installation of "launchers" that provide a new graphic interface and new functions to interact with the system.
However, if we want to customize other internal aspects of the system we must opt for other types of actions. The first one would be to install a series of modified packages, and even a new complete rom, although this fact can be quite complicated for many users.
The second possibility to do this is to do it through Xposed Installer, a series of modules for Android that allow to easily install certain packages and make internal adjustments in the system with relative ease.
The only condition we must meet for this is having Root permissions on our device. With this we can start installing Xposed Installer on our device.
Download Xposed Installer
The first thing we must do is download the installer from the website of the developers. For this from our device we will access the following link and download the corresponding apk file to install it on the smartphone.
Once downloaded, we execute it (from the notification area or looking in the "Download" folder from a file browser) and follow the wizard.
Once the copy is finished we will have the main program installed, but before you can use it you have to patch the system from it.
Activate the Xposed Framework
We execute the newly installed program and we will see a window similar to the following one.
From here we will manage the different modules to patch our smartphone, but first we must enable the framework responsible for processing these modules. To do this, click on the "Framework" entry and we will see the next window.
If you have an older version of the Framework installed at the top, the one that is already installed and the new one will appear. Otherwise, in the current version no content will appear and in the version to update we will see the newest available.
Click on the button "Install / Update" and ask us for root permissions to proceed with the installation. We grant them and wait a few seconds until the necessary modules are copied to the system. Once the process is finished we will see a window similar to the following one.
We reboot the system so that these changes are applied and when it starts again we will see that these patches are installed, activated and ready to work.
