Lite applications are a very untapped resource in the Android universe and is that developers do not realize that decreasing the resources needed to keep an application running, ensure part of its success. Google has already taken action on some of its most popular applications and now it's Facebook's turn, who has released the Messenger Lite version .
If there is something that Facebook Messenger is known for, it is due to a disproportionate size for a chat tool, as well as a huge consumption of resources and battery. It is even proven that the Facebook application itself has a negative impact on the performance of Android devices. All these obstacles are an impediment to low-end phones.
What surprises us about Facebook Messenger Lite is that it has not been launched all over the world , but is only available in Venezuela, Kenya, Tunisia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. All these countries have a common feature, that their mobile traffic networks are in development and mobile devices have lower hardware features.
We could say that Facebook has launched a version that consumes less resources and that occupies less than 10MB to avoid losing users in these geographical areas in development. This Lite version allows you to send stickers, photos, emojis and, of course, text messages , in short, just like the official version.
But the curious thing is that Facebook does not allow a Lite application that takes up less space, is lighter and does exactly the same as the official version, is not available to all users.
Many are loyal to this social network that from Android deny any Facebook application and resort to their browser when they want to use Facebook.
