Meizu is a Chinese manufacturer that deserves our full attention, since it has managed to win over the Western public not only with very competitive prices, but with quality terminals. A few hours ago, Meizu launched a new low-cost model, the Meizu M5 .
First we see that it has gone from the previous model, the Meizu M3, to the M5 model, thus skipping the Meizu M4 (it seems that it does not like the even numbers to the Chinese manufacturer) . The second thing that strikes us is its price, in the country of origin the most basic version of the M5 would cost less than € 100, so we assume that it will reach the rest of the world for a little more .

If you wonder what has the Meizu M5 that does not have other Chinese smartphones, then very easy, a hardware in terms of very complete. The outer material is polycarbonate (plastic material) that in addition to resistance gives us different colors (available in black, green, blue and gold) .
Paying more attention to the technical specifications of the Meizu M5, we find an IPS screen 5.2 inches and HD resolution . A screen with a moderate size, thus being a fairly compact device.
Under the hood we find an 8-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with an ARM A53 1.5GHz cluster and another A53 1.0GHz cluster . A processor that is not bad for a basic device.
We will find two different versions of the Meizu M5 :
- A version with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage .
- A version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage .
Among the characteristic extras of high-end smartphones we find the fingerprint sensor and the possibility of fast charging . The battery has a capacity of 3,070 mAh . In the rear camera equips a 13MP sensor with an aperture f / 2.2 accompanied by a dual LED flash.
