The competitiveness between iOS and Android is an increasingly close race and that seems to have no end, both ecosystems have their fans and detractors alike. The latest idea that Google has had is to attack from within, that is, it has made it easier for iOS users to use Google Drive to pass data from iPhone to Android .

Personally I thought it was an excellent idea, in a fair battle you do not have to disqualify the rival, you have to prove who is the best. So says Google introducing one of its most recognized services, Google Drive, directly on iOS to offer the possibility of leaving the operating system easily and migrate to Android . That said, it seems comical, but it's a very intelligent movement.

How to pass the data from iPhone to Android through Google Drive.

Despite the differences between iOS and Android, we are sure that making the jump to Android is not going back, as long as we choose a good smartphone. A few days ago we showed you how to manage the backup copies of Android in Google Drive , but now we will focus on migrating the basic data of our old iPhone to an Android mobile .

The process goes through something as simple as installing the Google Drive application on iPhone and you will have at your disposal a functionality to create a backup of your contacts, calendar / calendar and photos. Obviously this process requires a Google account with which to access the Google Drive service.

Once all the files are finished, all that remains is to go to our new Android device and when the device is synchronized with the Google account that contains the backup copy, everything will be ready and migrated. It's that easy for Google.

Many of you will be thinking about applications, but unfortunately, being different platforms can not be migrated from one platform to the other.
