The official Google store is one of the services that receives the most changes and updates per year. Google has already accustomed us to introduce little by little changes in the interface. This time Google Play Store highlights the main functions of the apps in a new section , as you can see in the images below.
This new feature has been introduced because one of the biggest problems when installing a new application is to find out which one is better and will work correctly. This system will be of great help to us to decide without having to install the application before.
This new section is found when accessing the page of each application, but for the moment we have only found it in recognized applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.
The main functions are highlighted with the classic thumbs up and a percentage next to each thumb. The higher the percentage will indicate a better performance of that function.
It is the users themselves who contribute their ratings according to their experience, so it would complement the current rating system (assessing a maximum score of 5 with stars) .
With the main functions we can know at a glance what is highlighted in the application to be able to compare. This is especially important when it comes to payment applications, as we will make sure that our purchase is the most successful.
The only drawback is that it is present in very few Google Play Store apps and only in the best known, so it is not very helpful at the moment. If in the future reaches those unknown apps could be a great help to discover new apps.
