The wait is over, the most adorable version of the Assassin's franchise from Ubisoft has reached Android devices. Ubisoft is used to launch quality games and with great success in sales, but on mobile devices the payment cart is raised within the application. The new Assassin's Creed Rebellion for Android is now available worldwide .
The launch of this game was expected for day 21 but we already have it available. In this installment we spin the usual story of the Assassins saga, but we will find a more "childish" character design . But do not be fooled, despite their new, lovelier appearance, they are still equally lethal.
First impressions of Assassin's Creed Rebellion for Android.
Overcoming the aesthetic change of the characters we immerse ourselves in our new adventure. The first impression you get from Assassin's Creed Rebellion is that its gameplay is very similar to that of Fallout Shelter. This stops being a surprise when we look at the company responsible for the development of both games is the same.
We find a game in which the fighting mechanics are based on turns and we will have a group of assassins who will obey our orders. As for the number of heroes available, there are more than 40 available . A more than enough to enjoy that game that even being a strategy, we need to use the stealth.
Many of the characters belong to previous installments and are known, but many others are entirely new. The story takes place in Spain , specifically during the stage of the inquisition. This is one of the aspects that motivated me to play it.
The combats are fun and original, so we will not fall into the monotonous.
When we start a game, we find a simple premise, use our group of assassins to overcome the mission. Each character has unique abilities , so selecting an effective composition of characters will be fundamental. We can always choose between carrying out a stealth strategy or trying to overcome the level based on our brute strength.
The goal is to overcome all the rooms without dying. This may seem simple, but keep in mind that each movement has a success rate. In each room we can decide which character will accompany us and we must be careful selecting it according to our strategy. This aspect of having to make decisions and then define a strategy adds that little bit of novelty that keeps us hooked.
Improvements to the headquarters and characters as we move forward.
As we go overcoming missions, we can expand our headquarters by adding new rooms . We can add training rooms, rest rooms or rooms to store our treasures.
As usual, to add new rooms we will need to use the coins. Instead the heroes will need DNA fragments to be unlocked. Simply playing and advancing in the game you get the resources for improvements. This also means that Ubisoft has introduced purchases within the app, which will allow us to accelerate the process if we are willing to spend real money.
