Currently, one aspect that many users seek for their different applications and services is personalization. Although in this aspect WhatsApp is somewhat limited (since the elements that allow customization are limited), one of them are the backgrounds of conversation. The messaging client allows to establish funds in the conversations that we have open at that moment so that the user feels more comfortable while he is in his different chats.

The default background that WhatsApp shows us in conversations is one with a general theme. If we look in detail we can see a smartphone with octopuses, arrows, music helmets, asteroids, a smartphone with the WhatsApp logo, etc.

For users who do not like this fund or prefer to use another, WhatsApp allows you to change the fund for another one that we choose. For this we will open the chat menu in question that we want to change and select "Fund".

Here we will see 4 options to choose our fund:

• Documents: It allows us to search the background in a photo of the memory of our device.
• WhatsApp: It allows us to download a gallery of photos designed by WhatsApp to set as background.
• By default: We use the default background we have seen previously.
• Bottomless: Removes the background and shows a smooth gray texture.

To show an example, we will select the "WhatsApp" option and we will download the "WhatsApp Wallpaper" package from the Play Store with the funds designed by the company. Once downloaded we will see a window of fund selection similar to the following.

We will look for the background that we like most of all existing ones and click on "Use as background". Next we will see that we already have the conversation with our new fund.

This fund automatically applies to all conversations so we do not have to change it one by one and we can not set up different backgrounds for each conversation.
