As we are using an Android device, little by little some unnecessary files are generated (temporary files, cache files, etc.) that significantly limit the performance of our device as well as occupying a valuable and limited storage space within it. These files must be manually deleted periodically, however, there are applications that help us with this task and allow us to easily delete them and optimize our Android device.
One of the applications designed for this function is Clean Master. This application is free and can be downloaded directly from the Play Store . Once downloaded and installed, we execute it. This application works perfectly without the need for root, however, it is possible to grant it these permissions and we will be able to take advantage of its potential even more and be able to access some advanced functions.
Once we accept (or ignore) said message we will see the main window of the application.
In this window we will see in the upper part a summary of the occupied storage space and the RAM memory that is in use. In the lower part we have the different Clean Master cleaning tools.
The options
If we click on any of the above sections we will see a detailed summary of the use of the storage space.
Then we go back to the main window and we will click on "Trash Files". A new window will open that will analyze all the storage space of our device and will show us the residual files that can be deleted according to their type.
If we click on one of the categories we will see an even more detailed summary with all the files. In this way we can choose only what we want to delete and leave the rest intact.
If we want to have more control over the storage we can click on "Advanced" (in the upper right) and we will open a window with many more data to erase.
We must be careful because if we select and delete everything we can delete without noticing personal files, music files, etc. We must look at each of the elements that are going to be deleted before confirming the deletion.
Once the files are confirmed, click on "Clean the garbage" and the file deletion will begin. After a few seconds the files will be deleted from our device and we will be able to restart so that the applications recreate the necessary temporary and cache files.
Another useful feature of Clean Master is the application manager. From here we can see all the applications that we have installed on our device, delete them or install new ones through their apk files.
If we have granted root permissions to Clean Master we can also remove from here the annoying applications that usually come with the devices when we buy them, whether from operators or manufacturers. In this way we can eliminate all those useless applications and optimize the consumption of device resources.
