The Wi-Fi Direct protocol offers many advantages to users when sending files from one device to another, for example, greater speed, flexibility and convenience compared to other similar technologies such as Bluetooth.
There are many applications designed to use Wi-Fi Direct in sending files. One of these applications is WiFi Shoot. This application differs from its main rivals for being an application especially simple to use so that in a few screen touches we can already be sending any file from one Android device to another through this technology.
WiFi Shoot can be downloaded and installed for free from the Play Store . Both the device that will send the file and the one that will receive it must have the application installed.
The first thing we must do is select the file that we are going to send from the sending device. For this we must use any file browser and open the option to "share" or "send". In the window that appears we must select WiFi Shoot.
The program will automatically open and you will be ready to send the selected file to the recipient device.
Then from the recipient device we must open the application and automatically start searching for the devices in the network. Once we find it we must select it and connect to it.
In the recipient device we will see a button called "Shoot". Click on it and the file transfer will begin.
Once finished, the file will be saved in the memory of the receiving device and the connection between them will end. We will be ready to send another file or review the one sent in the previous step.
This is an application that, although it is not as complete as other alternatives such as Superbeam, is very useful when sending files easily and without complications and will allow us to enjoy the advantages offered by this protocol of direct connection to the time to send files between devices.
