One of the main reasons why a WiFi network can go slow is because we have a neighbor or unauthorized user connected to it. Although passwords are usually protected with passwords, these keys are often easy to exploit due to the increased computing capacity of processors and GPUs, so connecting to an external network is often very easy .

Thanks to smartphones we can check at any time in a few seconds any intruder that we detect in our WiFi network. There are many applications that allow us to easily check in a few seconds all the devices connected to our network and identify them to know if they are known and reliable devices or on the contrary it is an intruder that is connecting to our network without our permission.

A very simple application to use to check our network in search of intruders from Android is Who Is On My WiFi. In other articles we have already talked about this application, specifically for Windows. The developers decided to launch a version for Android something simpler than that corresponding to Windows but that fully fulfills its function.

The first thing we must do if we want to use Who Is On My WiFi from our Android device is to download it for free from the Play Store.

Once downloaded and installed, we execute it on our device. We will see the main window of the application.

To perform an analysis of the network we must click on the "Scan" button at the top. We will wait several seconds and automatically we will see below all the hosts that the program detects in the form of a list with the corresponding IP addresses.

Once the exploration is finished we will see something similar to the following.

Here we will see all the connected IP addresses. If we want to obtain more information about them we must click on each IP address. A new window will open in which it will show us the host name, the IP address and the MAC address of each device.

From here we will check all the devices and if we detect one that does not correspond to us we should investigate and consider the possibility of changing the key of our WiFi to prevent them from continuing to connect.
