How can I set the maximum display resolution of Dell monitors?

For maximum performance, set the resolution of the screen in 2560x1080 pixels by performing the following steps:

In Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1:  

  1. Only for Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, select the Desktop icon to   Switch to the classic desktop. 
  2. Click with the right mouse button on the desktop and select Screen resolution. 
  3. Move the scroll bar to the right by pressing and holding the button Left mouse and adjust the screen resolution to 2560 x 1080. 
  4. Click OK.

In Windows 10:

  1. Right-click on the desktop and then onConfiguration of the screen . 
  2. Click Advanced settings on the screen . 
  3. Click the drop-down list of screen resolutions and select 2560 x1080. 
  4. Click Apply.

If your computer does not include the recommended resolution, you may need to update your graphics driver. Among the scenarios shown below,choose the one that best describes the system of your PC that you are using and follow the steps provided.
