The Meizu company has just presented the new Meizu M3E model with modest specifications, but with a very affordable price. With this release it is demonstrated that the Chinese companies also become the competition between them, in this case, the Meizu M3E is direct competition of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro and the Redmi Pro .

The housing of the Meizu M3E comes completely built in aluminum , giving a final weight to the device of 172 grams . The dimensions are quite contained with measures of 153.6mm high, 75.8mm wide and 7.9mm thick.

Technical specifications of the new Meizu M3E:

• Includes a 5.5-inch Full HD screen . The maximum resolution of the screen is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
• Processor octacore Mediatek Helio P10 2.0 GHz.
• It has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage . It has a slot for microSD cards, which increases storage up to 128 GB.
• 5MP front camera and 13 MP rear camera.
• The battery has a capacity of 3100 mAh .
• It includes a fingerprint reader accessible from the start button.
• The operating system is about Yun OS with the Flyme 5.2.1 customization layer.

The technical specifications are more than acceptable for a mid-range mobile that will be priced at € 170 in the country of origin . The main drawback is Yun OS, an operating system that according to Google is a copy of Android. As we have been able to investigate, Meizu devices come to the market with the bootloader blocked, so it would not be possible to change ROM.

In Meizu it seems that they have acquired the habit of launching models with very similar characteristics in short periods of time, they are those types of launches that users call "refritos". With this commercial strategy, they try to offer similar features to a prominent terminal of another company but at a lower price and thus try to take more sales.
