A few days ago we talked about how the company Adobe was expanding its catalog of utilities to the Android universe. They are usually applications for retouching and photo or video editing . The other day we talked about Photoshop Fix to repair imperfections but today the news is that Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for Android supports RAW editing .

Some time ago we talked about the advantages of the RAW format and seeing that more and more cameras are supporting this format, Adobe has decided to get on the bandwagon of other applications such as Snapseed and give support for the RAW edition. This is something expected by many Adobe users, who until now came to your desktop device to touch up the photos.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for Android supports RAW editing.

Remember that the RAW format does not produce quality losses , so we will have the original image with all the raw data and then give it the finish we need in the processing stage.

Until very recently, the RAW format was relegated to photography professionals, but smartphone cameras have evolved at a rapid pace and today high-end device cameras support this format.

From the above we deduce, that this new version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is useless, if our camera does not have support to save in RAW format . While we are facing one of the most powerful applications that exist for mobile devices, it is not free, so it is always good to have a free alternative such as Snapseed at hand.

They also wanted to facilitate the connection of our digital cameras with mobile devices and now they can connect via USB OTG and import the photos from the camera directly into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom .
