Yesterday we announced the launch of HTC U Ultra , which will be the high-end mobile but HTC has also presented a proposal for the mid-range, the HTC U Play .

Maintaining a design and finishes almost the same as its older brother, the HTC U Ultra, the U Play becomes a mobile phone with an impeccable design but somewhat cut in specifications to fit its price range .

Considering what we usually see in the HTC mid-range, this new U Play offers reasonable features but its success will be determined by its price. As usual, HTC has prices well above its competitors, which does not satisfy the general public that moves in the middle range .

Within its technical specifications, we also find certain aspects in which they have fallen behind their competitors by including a SoC MediaTek and a battery below 3000 mAh . The other technical specifications of the HTC U Play fit perfectly into a high-performance product and best of all is that it includes Android Nougat 7 factory.

Within its technical specifications we find:

• IPS screen of 5.2 inches with a resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels and 428ppi . We know that it will include a Corning Gorilla Glass protection layer but not what version.
• MediaTek Helio P10 processor .
• In terms of RAM and internal storage we will have the following possibilities: 3GB / 32GB and 4GB / 64GB .
• In the photographic aspect we find a 16MP main camera with an aperture of f / 2.0 and dual LED flash. The front camera incorporates a 16MP sensor.
• 2500 mAh battery .
• Connectivity: NFC , USB Type-C, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
• Extras: fingerprint sensor.
