Gifs have become a very attractive way to communicate through social networks and messaging apps. The iOS operating system has a couple of tools that can help you convert your photos into gifs. Now we tell you what you should do.

1. When taking a picture, make sure that the Live Photos function is activated . With Live Photos the iPhone camera records seconds before you take the photo to give it movement.

When you have a Live Photo it will look like a normal photo in your gallery but,  if you leave your finger pressed on the photo you will see a couple of seconds of the video scene , even with audio.

2. From the photo captured with Live Photo, slide your finger upwards , there you will find different motion effects for Live Photos.

3. Choose the effect of Rebound and your photo will look like a gif that you can share by iMessage to your contacts with iOS operating system.

As you noted, it was very simple, the problem is that this gif-like motion effect is not compatible from iOS with other messaging applications or social networks. But do not worry that for every problem there is an app with a solution, so keep reading if your friends do not use iMessage.

1. Download the free Lively app .

2. In the gallery of this app only the photos you captured with the Live Photo effect appear ; Choose the one you need.

3. From the menu you can export your Live Photo as a gif or as a video if you select the Movie option .

4. From the Settings button you can modify the speed and the type of movement you want for your gif. In the same way, you can choose the size with which you want the file to be exported.

5. When you select Export GIF it will give you the option to share it directly in one of your social networks or, in your photo gallery if you choose the Save option .

6. Ready, now, your photo appears as a gif to share on WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook and whatever application you want.

Note: The gifs are exported with the watermark of Lively but you can eliminate it if you buy the Premium version that has a cost of 59 Mexican pesos .
