So you can block Android number

Since the layout of Android varies on different mobile phones, we have different methods depending on the manufacturer, but the same principles apply to most platforms. If you do not see your model in this text, try the solutions offered by other model.
There are some phones that do not support the feature directly. In these cases, you can use the third-party app. We also mentioned them in our guide.
Block Android number: Set directly to mobile phone
1. Block a number on a Samsung phone
To lock a number on a Samsung phone, open the Phone app and tap the three dots in the upper right corner. In the displayed menu, select Settings> Block numbers. You can enter a phone number here to block a specific number, or you can enable the toggle feature to block all unknown callers.
To block a number from your call history, tap the round circle with a header next to the number, then tap the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page and select Block number.
2.Block a number on a LG phone
On an LG phone, you should open the Phone app and tap the Call log tab, then tap the three dots on the top right. Then select "Call settings". Select the option "Block call and reject with message", which is under the "General" overview. Dial blocked numbers, tap the "+" sign and then select either Contacts, Call History or New Number. Select or enter the number to block, and then tap Done.
In the call log, you should also be able to block a specific number by selecting it, tapping the three dots in the top right, and selecting Block Number.
3.Block a number on a HTC phone
For example, on the HTC U11, you can lock certain numbers by opening "People Ap" and selecting Manage Contacts from the menu. Tap "Blocked Contacts" and then "Add" to enter a number to block. You can either select an existing contact and tap "Save" or enter a new phone number and tap "OK".
You can also block a number from your call log by long pressing on it and selecting "Block contact" and then "OK".

While the above manufacturers have made it fairly easy to get rid of annoying telemarketers and their peers, other manufacturers have left this option off their platforms.
Luckily, if you can not block callers using your phone's operating system, you can still access third-party solutions.
If you use anti-virus software such as Avast on your phone, you will often find this feature included in the service. Otherwise, you can download dedicated apps like Truecaller or Mr Number that offer the same solution as the phones listed above.
