Within the proper functioning of our device, RAM is one of the components that has the greatest impact on the flow and performance of mobile. It is true that there are different applications that allow us to obtain a detailed monitoring of the system (for example SystemPanel 2 ) , but today we are going to show you how to see the consumption of RAM in Android without installing any application .

Generation after generation, smartphones include a greater amount of RAM and include new technologies that allow greater speed, but unfortunately there are still developers who do not optimize their applications and can consume more RAM than necessary. For this reason it is important to know those applications or processes that are using most of the RAM .

How to see RAM consumption in Android without installing applications.

The simplest way to see the amount of RAM occupied is from the Settings> Memory section , where we will find a record with the RAM consumption of each application or process. This method has the disadvantage that it is only available for smartphones with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system or higher.

There is a second option that consists of accessing the "settings for developers" and inside we will find a service monitor from which to consult the RAM consumption of applications and processes. Remember that to activate the "developer settings" you have to go to the general settings of the device and press seven times on the compilation number.

If none of the two previous methods convinces you, you will have to resort to some monitoring application. In mobiles with more than two years of life is very common that they do not have a large amount of RAM, so they suffer the annoying closures of applications for no apparent reason. Nor can we stop all processes to try to free RAM, since many of them are vital for the proper functioning of the device.
