One of the main shortcomings of WhatsApp is the absence of a client for PC that allows users to communicate from a computer instead of having to do it from a smartphone since some users, especially in long conversations, are often quite uncomfortable. One of the best options to use WhatsApp on a PC is to use an Android emulator that allows us to install the client and use it from it.
There are several Android emulators for PC. In other articles we have talked about free alternatives to carry out this task. In this article we are going to propose to you to use YouWave, an emulator of Android for PC of payment that fulfills perfectly its assignment.
The first thing we must do is download YouWave from its official website . The complete package of the Android emulator occupies around 150MB since it comes with several dependencies necessary for its correct operation, however, YouWave also requires to have installed VirtualBox to work without problems. This program can be installed before installing the emulator or during its own installation if we do not already have it.
We have 10 free trial days to test YouWave and decide if it suits our needs before paying for it.
Once downloaded, we will begin your installation.
The installation process is very simple. Just follow the wizard with following> next> install to start copying files.
The installation is done in a clean way so that no malicious or unwanted software is installed in our system. Once the file copy is finished we will have our YouWave emulator ready to start using it.
To enjoy the 10 days of testing we must select the first option indicated by the window. Once selected our emulator will start working.
The next step will be to download and install WhatsApp in our emulator. We can do this in several different ways, for example, we can download the installer and copy it to the personal application folder that we create within our user in Windows, download and install it from the emulator itself, etc.
In our example we are going to open the YouWave web browser and we will access the official Android page to download the installer (APK file) from there.
Once the download is finished, we will open the newly downloaded file (usually found in / sdcard / Download) and the installation will begin. We accept the permissions you request and we wait for YouWave to finish installing WhatsApp.
Once finished, we can open WhatsApp and start with the login wizard.
We can now use WhatsApp from our computer. We must remember that we can not use WhatsApp at the same time in the emulator and in the smartphone since if we start a session in one platform, the other will be deactivated automatically. This messaging client does not yet support multiple accounts running at the same time.
