You have probably noticed that when you send a picture on WhatsApp the quality of the image is affected a bit.Although, the resolution is still ideal for sharing on social networks there are times when you need to have the original quality of the photo and not a compressed version.
Of course one option is to send it by mail , but if you want another simple way to do it, through WhatsApp, follow the steps on your iPhone.
1. Open your Photo Gallery and select the photo (s) you need to send via WhatsApp.
2. Touch the button in the lower left corner that is used to share photos.
3 . In the bottom part of that window you will find the option Save to Files .
4. Now, choose the folder where you want to save these elements. For practical purposes, create a folder specifically called Photos . Touch Add .
5. Now, open WhatsApp and select the option Send represented with the plus symbol . In this section choose Document and not Photos.
6. The next window will show you the folders and photos that we moved to the Files application . Simply select the photos you want to send and that's it.
When you have pressed Send you will notice that it is not sent as a traditional photo but as a JPG file, so the other person can open that photo without problem; regardless of whether you receive it on Android or iOS. This trick also works to send uncompressed videos only, the maximum capacity to send files in this way is 100 MB.
Also consider that when sending photos and videos in their original quality you are occupying more internal storage of the phone; So if you just want to have the file to share on social networks or just have the memory, then I recommend using the traditional version (reduced).
